Thursday night we had Heather, Matt, Amy and Eric over for dinner. It also happened to be Amy's birthday. Check out the super deluxe ice cream cake we devoured (excuse the goofy face). Yum!
It was wonderful to introduce Amy and Eric to Miss Addison.Auntie Amy (DC visitor) & Addison:

Saturday Scott and I were able to enjoy a day of snowboarding at Stowe with each other and our friends sans Addison thanks to Grammie B babysitting services. While we love our little lady and hate to be without her, it was great to enjoy some time to ourselves and to also spend time with friends enjoying something we all love - being on the hill! Scott took some video of the day but unfortunately most of it is pretty eye boggling to watch. Thinks lots of snow flying by and bumpy footage of little dots (ie: people) snowboarding.
Later Saturday evening, Scott, Addison and I went to Heather and Matt's house for some great conversation, yummy food and good times. Matt is a passionate snowboarder and they have an apartment above their garage that is inhabited by another super passionate snowboarder. What are Eric and Scott so seriously discussing in the photo below?
Why Matt's and Chuck's backyard terrain park, of course.
While the above photo probably won't mean much if you aren't into snowboarding or skiing, it is a crazy example of how people in VT spend their time when winter starts getting a little long. Matt and Heather provided the backyard and Chuck made all of the features you see. Crazy. We topped off a great weekend with a little Rock Band as well. Scott LOVES this video game. See below for his 'guitar face'. You should see when he's on the mic. (Don't worry, Addison was sleeping soundly down the hall for this portion of the evening.)
Thanks Apple, Eric, Heather and Matt for such a great weekend!
